Our History
Founded in 2000, Little Scholars of Detroit is a non-profit childcare and learning center licensed by the State of Michigan. What began as a small initiative rooted in community care has grown into a thriving organization that now serves approximately 300 children. Our unique approach integrates arts and education, allowing us to recognize and nurture each child’s individual learning style. This commitment to creativity and innovation continues to set Little Scholars apart as a leader in child development and youth programming.

At Little Scholars of Detroit, our mission is to build a strong foundation for lifelong learning through creative self-expression, high-quality education, and nurturing care.

We proudly serve children from 6 weeks to 13 years of age, offering flexible enrollment options designed to meet the diverse needs of families. Our goal is to create an environment where every child feels safe, supported, and inspired to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
